David Nordstrom & Charles Hubbard Talk about the 2010 RX
The Auto Channel has posted up a great feature on the new 2010 Lexus RX 350 & 450h. First, host Mark Fulmer takes a drive with Lexus USA’s Vice President of Marketing, David Nordstrom, who gives some very natural & fresh insight into the new RX, then switches over to the more technical Charles Hubbard of Lexus College:
A few points:
- Felt in the wheel wells. Seriously.
- Curious that Nordstrom didn’t show the Heads Up Display in Action — must not film well.
- Lexus expects to sell the same amount of RX as last year, maybe more.
This is a great video to watch if you have the time, I really enjoyed it.
(Thanks Hube!)

felt in the wheel wells is more common than you think. my 2009 C350 has this in the rear wheel wells. it actually does more damage than good, because grass, pine needles and “nature” get stuck to the felt.

Yeah, I had never heard of this before — now that you mention it, it could be a detriment rather than a benefit.
I’d like to see how it holds up over six months.

I live in San Diego and spend most of my days in many of the areas they were driving through, just a little fun to watch. Looks like a great car I can’t wait to see more on the road.

Sounds like David Nordstrom usually bikes down by the beach as well.

Indeed a nice interview to watch. Little things like how the doors protect your pants from getting dirty whilst entering/leaving are very nice to know.
Indeed this car is getting better looking as time goes on. But d*mn, that sure took time this time.

I loved how Nordstrom touched on all the little things, first time I’ve heard of a few of those details.
Thanks for the pointer to that video, Hube!

i actually dont like the 19″s on the RX450h and prefer the non chromed style of the 19″s on the 350
