Lexus Power of H Commercial: Solar Tree
Power of H, Lexus’ hybrid marketing campaign, has put out three non-product infommercials featuring example of green engineering. First, we watched homes being built from shipping containers, then a bridge that uses the passing cars to generate electricity, and now the final installment about a Solar “Tree” built in Italy:
These videos may have been made with marketing in mind, but that really doesn’t take away from their messages. Each clip is incredibly interesting, and definitely worth taking the time to watch.

I know that LA has already had hosted too many Olympic Games, but being virtually the first city (county, moreover) to actually make a profit out of being an Olympic host (1984), I think they should have deserved some support from the federal government to win over Chicago as a competitor against other cities.
I know we’re not all from LA, but the “fantasy” I have in mind is LA hosting the 2016 Olympics (which they lost the chance to Chicago); LA builds all sorts of monorails for transportation from the center of the county to places as far as Big Bear and Legoland; LA makes lots of money; LA spends the money on all these amazing technologies (make sure they are easy to maintain with a long lifespan); LA continues with a slow decline in debt; LA, for the first time in history, has the lowest tax in CA, at least; people from the surrounding counties begin to shop in LA more using those monorails and taking advantage of the innovative technologies for the environment; LA becomes prosperous again; rest of America start to expand the practice; most of North America should be happy by the end of 2020
